Denmark Redirects to European Suppliers

In response, Denmark finalized its biggest defense procurement to date with European manufacturers, opting for long- and medium-range systems to fill the gap.
Unease Among NATO Members
The suspension of sales has unsettled NATO allies, many of whom are heavily committed to aiding Ukraine. Critics argue the freeze undercuts transatlantic defense cooperation, while some analysts believe it could hasten Europe’s move to invest more in its own defense industry and reduce reliance on American weaponry.
